Young Drivers

Your future's bright, drive safe.

Young drivers are typically defined as an age range varying from 18-25 years although it may vary on the basis of country, culture and context.

When it comes to operating vehicles on road, young drivers are often more prone to mistakes and accidents with speeding, distractions and inexperience being the top causes. The momentary elation to press on the accelerator often results in a life-time of sorrow and pain to unfortunate victims and their families

Underage Driving

It's astonishing when parents, who dedicate themselves to safeguarding their children from harm, hand over vehicle keys to their underage kids and teens. Among the many indulgences’ parents shower upon their children, allowing them to drive without meeting the legal age, obtaining a valid license, or receiving proper training is arguably the most perilous. These unlicensed 'drivers' not only endanger others but also pose the greatest threat to their own lives. Hence, the only way to tackle this issue is to say NO to under age driving!

Help your Young Adults become better drivers!

For a young adult, a driver’s license is not only their passport to operate the vehicle- it is their key to the gradual freedom and independence that comes with it. This is how you can help them become better, more prudent drivers:

1. Seat Belts are a must!

Research shows that in a road accident, you are 10 times more likely to be injured if you do not wear a seat belt. Encourage your children to wear seat belts even during short trips to the shops.

Encourage your children to put their mobile phone away when they are driving. In case of emergency, they should park the car and then tend to the call or message.

4.6 seconds

Adherence to the speed limit ensures everyone’s safety. Encourage young adults against indulging on racing on the roads.

Drivers should be aware of the blind spots especially during a 3-point turn, parking or removing the vehicle from parking, changing lanes, turning and while merging with other traffic.

Driving when you are sleepy is as dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. During a long drive, it is better to take multiple 20-minute power naps to refresh and recharge yourself.
